Another week gone by. Another long week gone by. Putting team arguments aside, this week was fairly productive. Continuing work on the dragon has been surprisingly fun. Healthy and I spent a good amount discussing animations. I haven’t gotten as far as I would’ve liked on the dragon controller but now that most of the animations are finished, it will be easier to implement more of the missing pieces (like landing and walking).
For now, at the time of this post, the dragon can fly pretty well. It can’t shoot fire at all or land, but those features should be here soon. Another feature that should be in soon is the player lobby. After the server team starts the server, they are dropped into the lobby where they can select their team color and wait for the rest of the teams to join. The only problem with the lobby right now is that the client dragons won’t spawn correctly hopefully that can be fixed this week.
I also spent the weekend in Atlantic City which was pretty fun.
